Cleveland Browns - Scoreboard Internship

For the 2025-2026 football season, I got a chance to work with the amazing people who make the graphics for the video board! It was an interesting experience differing from my original game day job of a camera grip (which I continued to do during my internship), and it was very cool to see what I made on the boards in games. I learnt exactly how much effort goes into creating and producing the show around the game, and got to take part in it as well.

Here are some of the things I worked on for this season!

"Mascots Rockin'" Get Loud Prompt

A noise prompt I animated to get the crowd loud for defensive plays!

I designed this version of mascots Brownie and Chomps so I could hand-draw animate them easier, and to bring a different feel to the prompt list.

Game Day Poster Animations

One of my 'intern tasks' was to animate the game day poster that plays after the National Anthem. It was interesting and fun to do! -Getting a new poster to work with for each home game. I did not illustrate these, just animated them for game day. I would get the Photoshop file sometime before the game it was for (usually the day before 'XD ), and split it up as I saw fit in order to animate it like a motion graphic in After Effects. I had complete freedom on how to do it, but I tried to create a story into the poster and show it off at the end of the segment.

'Level: Get Loud!' -Pixel Pump

A random idea I got and decided to act on-wasn't sure what was coming out of pixel art from the beginning, but it turned into a pretty fun pump. Again, I wanted to add more animated things to the show, and since I like working on the more cartoon-ish type of things, the Mascots are an easy subject to use! Also I thought this would be a good way to keep kids interested during time-outs and breaks.

Dragula Pump

One of the things we did for games was make crowd pumps to hype up the crowd during defensive plays. I heard this song on the radio and IMMEDIATELY had this idea. They were looking to make shorter prompts for shorter breaks during game play, so this is what I came up with. The text animation is from motion array, with edited parts from myself. The text prompts are to pad for time when it plays, just in case.

Columbus Crew Pump and Prompt

After the Browns season, we help with the creation of content for the Columbus Crew season. They wanted a Crew Cat version of the mascot content I made for the Browns, and here is what I came up with!
